ReadiConnect
For an Adaptive
Enterprise to operate effectively,
intra-enterprise heterogeneous systems and
applications need to operate seamlessly
together. This requires process level
integration between different applications.
ReadiConnect provides one of industry’s most flexible service-oriented integration platform for enterprise applications. Its pluggable adaptive connectors provide integration with custom applications as well as various enterprise resources and its collaboration engine provides support for message flows, data validation and transactions.
Representative
Usage Scenarios
- For
intra-enterprise agility, ReadiConnect could be used to integrate applications by
exposing them as webservices, while overlying ReadiOrchestra could be used to configure business processes on-the-fly.
Key Features
- Process Collaboration
Engine: Supports service-oriented message
choreography between multiple applications.
Supports synchronous and asynchronous processes
as well as data handlers for conversion between
document standards.
- Adaptive Connectors:
Provide interfaces to various backend
applications using an extensible connector
architecture.
- High-Performance Engine: Ensures that solutions can scale to
handle high transaction volumes.
- WebServices Integration: Allows seamless connectivity with
SOAP-based services.
- Transaction
Support & Data Validation: Allows

ReadiB2Bi
To meet the
demands of an Adaptive Enterprise, a real-time business process
network with all the associated
business partners needs to be formed
(with many-to-many links). Also all the relevant business
processes need to be integrated and aligned.
ReadiB2Bi provides a flexible
service-oriented process integration platform
for such a network of business partners
to be formed. It supports process-level
integration with multiple messaging and
collaboration protocols and reliable messaging
and transactions.
Representative Usage Scenarios
- ReadiB2Bi could be used to
enable (many-to-many) process integration
between business partners. Business Analysts
could then use overlying
ReadiOrchestra to configure complex
process-flows together with ReadiMinds
Partner Manager for agile electronic
collaboration. If business partner does not have webservices
enabled system, ReadiDesktop allows these
partners to participate in the real-time
business network using desktop WebServices.
ReadiStudio could be used to configure
custom document handlers for inbound and
outbound messages, and to deploy these
services on the ReadiCORE platform.
- For large-scale collaboration
with multiple partners, administrators
can manage ReadiB2Bi partner profiles
using ReadiManager.
Key Features
- Process Collaboration Engine: Supports service-oriented message
choreography between multiple partners. It
supports synchronous and asynchronous processes
as well as data handlers for conversion between
message standards.
- Reliable WebServices Messaging: Ensures that messages are
delivered reliably - in proper sequence and once
only.
- Data Validation & Full Transaction support: Service usage can be
tracked and billed.
- Billing Interface: Service usage can be tracked and billed.
- Partner Management:
Manage business partner profiles and processes.
- Security Engine: Provides
high-strength cryptography. Message
confidentiality and non-repudiation is assured.
- Open Industry Standards:
Major industry messaging standards are supported for interoperability with third party systems.

ReadiDesktop
In an Adaptive Enterprise, real-time
access to services is critical for the success
of the business. Business users have critical
information on their desktops that are often
not integrated with the enterprise information
systems, and this can reduce visibility
of crucial information.
ReadiDesktop
provides a lightweight client
to & for WebServices. Its rich-client interface
allows business users to search, configure
and consume WebServices from anywhere in
the business network. In addition, users can
expose lightweight WebServices to personal data
stores such as Microsoft Excel, FoxPro or
MS Access. This flexibility allows the desktop
users to become part of the real-time business
network so that everyone can now use/provide
WebServices.
Representative
Usage Scenario
- In an Adaptive Enterprise, business users need to participate in processes across the network. ReadiDesktop provides WebServices support and allows process integration with services through ReadiB2Bi. Users can also integrate with other services deployed on ReadiCORE anywhere in the business network.
Key Features
- WebService Gateway: Supports direct access to WebServices.
- Service Discovery (UDDI): Users can query registries for service
information and description.
- Desktop WebServices: Lightweight web server provides
WebService access to personal data.
- Desktop Integration: Integrate service information direct
into desktop objects such as MS Access and MS
Excel spreadsheets.
- Data Persistency: Provide access to through offline
persistent data store.
- Application Framework: Supports the use of third party applications to process custom services. These applications can be installed from the network as plug-ins and avoids costly deployment.
